Practical information about artworks installed in a specific location takes strategic
precedence over analysis; it does not exclude but validates the latter procedure.

Because a knowledge of details concerning a venue and its use provides the
necessary basis to understand why and how an artwork is exhibited, texts about
projects are carefully translated from German into English or the other way
around. Nonetheless, analytical essays, that also form part of a project, may only
be written in one language or the other. Whether they handle similar or different
topics, these texts are not translated. They shed added light on various aspects
of the project without amounting to a critical corpus that must be fully read.
